As this is the first attempt to comprehensively list and describe Australia’s Second World War trophy guns, it is neither authoritative nor exhaustive. The list excludes mortars and small calibre weapons (< 20 mm), and those captured guns known to survive in the former Australian mandated territories of Papua, New Guinea, and Bouganville.
